Weekend Trip to Azalea River

This small cabin is wonderful, yet maybe not for everyone. I loved the proximity to Jedediah National Forrest, and the site right on the Smith River (literally feet from the edge). It was a cozy little space, with just enough amenities to be comfortable and functional. The main bed is up a ladder in a loft (must be comfortable to climb up and down it), and the shower and toilet are both outside and separate from the cabin. But the views are spectacular, just wished it was warm enough to go swimming (maybe next time). Would highly recommend, especially for those who don't mind a mix of comfort and roughing it together.

I loved my stay here. Jacob answered my phone call when I had difficulty getting into the property and everything went smootly after that. The river was beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable. Loved the close proximity to the many redwood groves nearby, particulary Jedidiah Smith State park. Location was very private, and completly fenced in, and I felt totally comfortable.

absolutely loved this spontaneous decision to book the tiny house. it was so cozy and cute. the outdoor kitchen and shower were awesome. the bed was super comfy. and the host and her sons were the best! such a sweet family and so accommodating and hospitable. this place is definitely a community feel. you’ll get privacy and solitude, and quiet night sleep, least i did! the fire was lovely in the morning when it was chilly. i brought my own camp toilet, but there is one down a carved out trail that is not accessible to all at current. very private though. in between. the coast and redwoods. amazing stuff to do when not at the tiny house. i just loved my time just, being. it was really so very lovely.

Great spot. Fun little cabin with all the essentials for a trip away from the city. Quiet setting, peaceful atmosphere. Farm cat was friendly and welcoming. No problem finding the site but we are local. Neighbor’s roosters are a bit loud very early but not a nuisance. Would stay again.

Awesome host and accommodations!!! It was comfortable and had a beautiful view of the vineyard. Perfect place to stay if you want to visit Harbin hot springs.

We had a wonderful time at Radio Ranch. We had initially planned on doing several hikes while in that area, but after spending one day on the ranch, we didn’t want to leave. It was so relaxing just to sit by the waterfall and read! All of the accommodations and amenities were perfect and we were really comfortable. I would 100% recommend this place!

These are the amenities/facilities you will have free access to: Pool, Pool chairs and umbrellas, Deck area with sunset view, Trampolines, and hammocks. There is not cooking allowed by or at any of the common areas, due to flies and critters. Cooking and eating is only allowed by your sites and not in any common areas: Hammocks, Trampolines, Pool Area, tables, sink, and deck please follow this rule because we want to prevent our shared areas to be fly and bug infested. We are still working on ridding the flies and cleaning. (please try to bring prepackaged food or something easy. If anything you can drive 10 minutes to nearby food and grocery). In the past we let people cook and eat around the pool but now our whole property is fly infested and I find scattered leftovers on the ground. Thanks for understanding. THERE IS A 1-2 MINUTE HIKE TO THE CAMPSITES 1-5! Poolside campsites are closer to the parking and are bigger. CHECK OUT OUR NEW LODGING: This property is my home that I live in with my 2 kids. It is a rustic and homey vibe, definitely not a hotel. We want you to come knowing what to expect. Our property offers a pool, and trampolines for the kids. We have a deck patio area that overlooks an amazing view of the redwood forest. Most of our guests are those that come from foreign countries and they all LOVE the property. I love leaving a great impression of our area. CAMPGROUND GUIDELINES Pack out your trash. Rinse feet before using the pool. No pool toys or floaties. Always supervise kids. Don’t sit on chair edges or pool cover box. Use stumps or your own table for cooking (not ours). Keep the area clean—no food scraps on the ground. No dogs in the pool area; leashes and cleanup required. No eating in rooms or cabin. Check out on the deck. No smoking (vapes only, away from common areas). Each site is located near one of our creeks so you can enjoy the sounds of flowing water. Visit our *two* large waterfalls on a hike through 30 beautiful acres. Our light show at dusk lasts approximately 3 hours each evening because we believe that nighttime should be just as beautiful as the day. Breathtaking views of Ironside Mountain make a gorgeous backdrop for weddings, events, and photoshoots. Ask about whole property rental! Each site rental comes with shared access to modern off-grid showers, restrooms (including our very popular clawfoot tub), and an outdoor kitchen with BBQs and a wood-fired pizza oven plus public space that is Instagram worthy. Free WIFI is also included, so it is perfect for remote workers. Check-in is contactless and simple. We only allow 2-10 guests on the property at once, so it's peaceful and quiet and feels like it's all yours! Don't wait to book because space is very limited. Treat yourself to a stay with us. Radio Ranch is the perfect place to get away from it all, while still having it all. Relax and rejuvenate at Radio Ranch. *Recommended for ages 21+. Custom designed by artist John Henry Jones, the Ranch House is the largest and most private suite at the Joshua Tree Container Resort, and has a large screened in front porch giving our guests a safe way to recreate in the outdoors in Theis desert wilderness area. Two queen beds are available inside the history-laden ranch house (originally homesteaded during the WWI era). It is steps away from the hot tub, pool, gym, hammock palapa and great lounging spots on the ranch.
