Really wanted to like this place. It was available last minute. It was nothing like the photos online. There was no wood burning stove, futon, or blankets in the tent, just an old used rug. The host Felipe asked when we would arrive and we said 9:30pm. We messaged him at 9pm when we arrived to see if he could provide blankets like the online photos as there was nothing in the tent. He never responded- either that night or the following morning. If he had responded saying ‘no’ that would’ve been better than nothing. Beautiful scenery otherwise and remote location, however the place is very run down. Very unfortunate, would not recommend.

I spent part of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend at this amazing property. The tent and all amenities provided were so thoughtful and made the stay very comfortable. We had a wonderful time sitting around the campfire, cooking and walking around amongst the Joshua Trees. Once we got the fireplace going inside the tent we stayed nice and warm with the 30 deg temps at night, so fall camping was a lot of fun even in cooler temps.

Very peaceful and quiet place. Entry was east, the tent was very comfortable and the port o potty was clean. A little dog seems to run the place, so be on the look out for him - he’s friendly little rascal 🤣

Beautiful spot in a green part of the desert where it slopes up to the mountains. Communication with Felipe was easy before the trip, although once we got there I didn't have reception needed to message through the app when I had a question. (Verizon). All the basics you need are there. The large logs for a great fire were wonderful to have. The extra jug of potable water was a nice touch and there were other thoughtful things for guests too. You should be sure to bring plenty of warm bedding since it gets really cold at night most of the year, even when it's still very hot during the day. Also, if you are going to sleep on one of the cots in the 4 person tent, definitely bring extra pads to help you stay warm and more comfortable. The place feels welcoming, clean, safe, and well taken care of. I recommend it and hope to return!

Hidden Juniper Glamping Tent
Had a great time with the kiddos and dog at Felipe's site for a great weekend of relaxation and solitude.
The glamping tent was perfect for the family - having a bed and cots saved lugging all of our gear around.
The solar powered string lights, marker lights, and pump hand wash station all were great touches. Felipe also left a large jug of drinking water, a bundle of firewood, and some solid suggestions on hitting a local splash pad to beat the mid-day heat.

This place was perfect! A great way to get away for a little bit and enjoy some time beside a fire in the desert. Not to mention, the grill is great for camp cooking and the stars were out of this world. There were dogs barking at night, so my only recommendation would be to bring ear plugs if you are a light sleepers Thanks so much again and I would recommend to anyone. Highly recommend checking out Devils Punch Bowl Loop Hike as well which is a short drive away.

We got to Felipe’s Tiny cabin at the perfect time. The sunsets from this place is breathtaking. The deck overlooking the Joshua trees and the snow-capped mountains were the highlight of our stay here. The firepit at this place is huge and we cooked us a good nights meal and had it at the picnic tables by the cabin. If you are looking to step away from the hustle and bustle of the city life then this is a perfect spot for you. Our pup was a happy camper too! We had a beautiful stay. Thank you Felipe!!

The Joshua Tree Tiny Cabin offers an unforgettable experience, allowing you to bask under the starry night sky and admire the sunrise amidst the cacti. This cozy abode provides all the amenities required for a peaceful night's sleep, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I only wish I had stayed longer, but if I am in the vicinity again, I will definitely return to this tranquil retreat.

Felipe's land was exactly what we needed. A spacious, empty place, far from civilization where we could disconnect with everything except one another. It was so fun cooking together on the grill, being warmed by the small wood-burning stove, playing chess and drinking wine together. Though, the space is tight and I would've loved to use the bookshelf as more storage space, but there was plenty of room outside. The hammock was a great feature as well as the picnic table. I would've loved if there was a double-seater in front of the fire pit as opposed to two separate chairs, but it didn't take away from the magic of the silence and nature. Everything was clean! I was very grateful for that and even more grateful the firewood, soap, hand sanitizer and so many other amenities were provided! I'm sorry people steal your lighters. Don't forget to bring one! Otherwise, it's simply a 20 minute inconvenience for a $2 lighter down the street. All in all, it was perfect, convenient and peaceful. Absolutely recommend. Have a wonderful trip!

Perfect spot if you’re looking for isolation, quietness, and a beautiful view of a clear, starry night sky! The shack is super cute and warm, and the host supplied us with wood for the fire pit outside and the little furnace inside. Highly recommend!!

When I first put this stay, I thought it was going to be in Joshua tree. Regardless, I had a beautiful time in this beautiful tiny cabin. The furnace kept us very warm, and the beautiful outdoor space was amazing for enjoying the beautiful atmosphere. This day was amazing and definitely worth it.

Beautiful little stay in Llano. The cabin is tiny but so cozy and lovely. Clean space, beautiful quiet outdoors, and lovely scenic views of the mountains and joshua trees. The cabin is solar powered so there are some outdoor and indoor lights. Small furnace will keep you warm and tiny butane powered stove available. Bring own butane just in case. We brought wood but wood was provided for the furnace. The “ax” to chop wood was dull, but we managed to chop up more pieces. Bring blankets and some pillows. Overall, very impressed and felt comfortable. Thank you so much.

If you looking for a quiet place and far from the city noise then you are at the right spot. The cabin was as described in its name “Tiny” but cozy and nice. Felipe is very nice and attentive.
If you trying to search for the place on the weather app search “Llano” so you have a better idea how the temperature will be within your stay.
Space has a BBQ, butane stove and fire pit outside which you can use only if its not windy, luckily our first night was ok to have the fire on but second night was extremely windy so we couldn’t.

The set up was really nice with the sink water, picnic table/bench, parasol, gas grill, fire pit, chairs and table. This place is perfect for when you want to go camping, but only to literally relax. We did not need to set up anything as we normally do when we go tent camping, so it was very convenient and comfortable.
Inside of the cabin has a table, 3 chairs, sofa, bed, books, paper towels, wet naps, tea bags, and water. They really thought of their customers. Would definitely come back here again!

Hidden Juniper Glamping Tent
Felipe’s glamp site was the perfect location for a weekend away for my friends and I. The tent is massive and so so cozy, easily sleeping 4 people. Love the little touches like the cactus, the lights and the box of Boardgames. There’s also a hanger for hammocks, you just have to bring your own. Would definitely recommend this beautiful site to others and would consider another stay myself.

This is my second time staying at Felipe's cabin. It's a wonderful little no thrills getaway just over an hour away from LA. Both times it has been clean and well prepared for me. The night sky here is beautiful, not to mention sunrise. Other bonuses would be the firepit and bbq grill which made my stay that much better. I would highly recommend this little spot to anyone wanting to escape LA on a budget and not trying to drive too far. I plan on staying here again in the fall and probably many more times in the future. Thanks again Felipe!!!!!

Felipe’s ranch is really gorgeous and the cabin is perfect for a gateway weekend! We loved staying there, and Felipe’s attention to details (preparing a fan in case of a warmer night or setting up the wood for the fire) is just great. It looks even better live and we’d definitely stay here again.

The tiny house was absolutely perfect! We were so fortunate to book it at the last minute on a holiday weekend. Felipe was great. He responded right away and let us know everything we needed to know about staying at his place. The location is beautiful. Despite the tent being nearby it felt very secluded. Once inside for the night no sound from the tent site made it’s way to us in the cabin. The porta-potty is the cleanest I’ve ever used in my life and it’s perfectly disguised behind a tree. We went up the road to Wrightwood for the afternoon on our way home from a perfect night away. We can’t wait to go back and stay in the tent next time.
