Group trip

2 nights at Tomkins Farm

Before we arrived the communication was effective and succinct. We found the property easily and our pitch. We had chosen a ‘glamping’ tent that was clean, spacious and well appointed. It was a beautiful, green, calm and quiet area. Philip gave us a couple of great tips on where to eat locally.

Weekend Trip to Southwood Park Estate

Loved the camp vibe and the people are very welcoming and friendly. The campsite is very clean and things are there for everyone likeness to enjoy. The staff is very sweet to help. You just have to ask. Make sure to get your cooking equipments like if you want to cook near your tent. There is stove and fireplace. You can also use the open kitchen BBQ to cook if you want. Get yourself a camp chair if you want to sit comfortably outside next to the fireplace near your tent and an outdoor lamp Each camp is separated so you have ample privacy The camp area is beautifully designed and decorated which looks great during daytime. Breakfast is scrumptious and you can have food and drinks throughout the day in the restaurant. The campsite hosts are super nice and loves to take good care of their guests

Weekend Trip to The Barn KT9

KT9 barn is brilliant. The bell tent was spacious and we loved the extra bits of detail on the campsite like the hammocks and badminton net. Outdoor toilets and showers were clean and a good bit of the experience for the kids

Weekend Trip to Beech Estate Campsite

The bell tent had everything we needed and the setting in the woods among the bluebells was incredible. Steve was fantastic at helping us sort out a booking mistake on my part, and once we got there everyone was super kind and helpful. Will definitely come back soon!

An idyllic setting, beautifully kitted out bell tents, great facilities - Weber bbq, firepit, deck chairs to relax and enjoy the views, delicious coffee and pastries - excellent service all around. What a gem of a place! Thank you to Charlie and team for a memorable visit

Next to junction 8 of the M20 there is also Leeds Castle, only a 20 minute drive from Far and Away and the Big Cat Sanctuary is only a few fields away. We look forward to welcoming you to Setts Wood Farm and will provide you with all you need for a relaxing and rewarding visit to Tenterden and The Weald. We offer a selection of bell tents or you can bring your own tent. The camping is set across 2 fields and extends to 12 acres. We have a maximum of 30 tents so it is never crowded. Come and meet the alpacas, sheep, pigs, goats and horses! We also have a small fishing lake which guests are welcome to use for a small donation. We restocked last year and there are carp and several species of smaller silver fish. It is ideal for beginners and children. Any children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Setts Wood Farm is perfectly positioned to explore Tenterden and the surrounding villages, and is less than a 20 minute drive to the historic town of Rye, with the beaches of Camber, Dymchurch and Littlestone just a few minutes further.
