Unplug from the world and recharge your body and mind. The rustic cabin has no electric but has solar lights inside and one outside. No running water, we will have two 5 gallon jugs of water at cabin. Sleeps up to 5 people. Has a full bed with linens provided in the bedroom. Also a full mattress, and a cot size mattress in the loft. (Bring sleeping bags or linens for these beds.) Pillows are provided. The loft is not suitable for young children. Has a battery powered shower inside and also one outside in the summer. Bathroom uses disposable compost 100% degradable bags, Should HAVE A ALL WHEEL DRIVE or 4 X 4 VEHICLE, or a front wheel drive car with high clearance, or could hike up to the cabin. The rode is steep in places. Behind a locked gate. We will meet and take you to cabin. You will be given a key to use. Cabin is .8 of a mile off of Jordan Run Rd. and is around 5 miles to the entrance of forest rd 75 and 2 1/2 miles to entrance of forest rd 19. Has beautiful mountain views from above cabin (see pictures). Can see the top of dolly sods from cabin. Has a propane wall heater and wood stove for chilly nights. Fire wood is provided. You can hike or bike on roads on the property. In the winter if there was snow you could bring snowshoes and hike up to cabin and if you had skis you could ski back off to your vehicle or could cross country ski on one of the roads on the property. Cabin is 15 to 20 minutes from Seneca Rocks, Smoke Hole caverns is 8 to 10 minutes, Canaan and Timberline ski resorts are 45 to 55 minutes away. Local streams are stocked with trout. No pets, no smoking in or near the cabin. No drugs or parties allowed. There is a smoke detector, a carbon dioxide detector, and a fire extinguisher. There is bears and other animals around. Primitive camping. Come pitch your tent and enjoy nature. No cell service. Campsite is 7/10 of a mile off of Jordan Run Rd on Rocky Hollow Paradise Rd.  Front wheel drive cars can make it to the campsite if you have good clearance. AWD or 4 x 4 recommend. Great views to enjoy and can hike or bike around on our property. Sets on 223 acres.  Road is dirt and steep and a little rough in places. Up to 2 Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash when outside of tent. We will have a bucket with degradable bags set up in a pop up shelter. We are close to Dolly Sods Wilderness area, 5 miles from entrance to forest rd 75 and 2 1/2 miles to forest rd 19. Behind a locked gate. Will meet and greet you. You will have a key to use while staying on our property. We provide SOME firewood.

Unplug from the world at Rocky Hollow Paradise LLC and recharge your body and mind. The cabin has no electric but has solar lights inside and one outside. No wifi or cell service in this area. The cabin stays pretty cool because it's surrounded by trees and it doesn't get as hot there as other places. If you open the windows in the evenings it cools down good. No running water, we will have two 5 gallon jugs of water at cabin. Sleeps up to 6 people. Has a full bed with linens provided in the bedroom. Also a full mattress,  and a cot size mattress in the loft.  One extra person can use the sofa.  (Bring sleeping bags or linens for these beds.) Pillows are provided. The loft is not suitable for young children. Has a battery powered shower inside. Also one outside in summer. Degradable bags in the bathroom.  Should HAVE ALL WHEEL DRIVE or 4 X 4 VEHICLE, but most front wheel drive cars make it with no problems. Could hike up to the cabin also. The rode is dirt and steep in places.  Behind a locked gate. We will meet and take you to cabin. You will be given a key to use. Cabin is 8/10 of a mile off of Jordan Run Rd. On Rocky Hollow Paradise Rd and is around 5 miles to the entrance of forest rd 75 and 2 1/2 miles to entrance of forest rd 19. Has beautiful mountain views from above cabin (see pictures). Cabin at Rocky Hollow Paradise LLC. No cell service or electric. The cabin does get warm in the loft when temps are high. We installed new windows that open on 4/28/25 in the loft. We have a box fan and a solar fan you can use. Has a outdoor shower. Has a propane heater and cooktop, solar lights, and a full mattress in the loft with pillows and a sheet on mattress, bring blankets or sleeping bags. One person can sleep on the sofa. Cabin is 10ft X 10ft. 4x4 or AWD is recommended. Front wheel drive cars can make it. It is 9/10 of a mile off of main road. The road is dirt and a little rough and steep in places. We provide one 5 gallon jug of water. Has a compost bucket toilet with degradable bags. No pets. You can hike on our 223 acre property and take in the views. Behind locked gate. Firewood is provided for firepit. We are located 5 miles to entrance of forest rd 75 and 2 1/2 miles from entrance to forest rd 19. Located off of Jordan Run Rd. If you can't get up you can hike up to cabin and I can haul your stuff up. No smoking in or near the cabin.

This was our second time back to Rocky Hollow (the first time we tent-camped), and just like the first time, it was absolutely amazing and exactly what you need if you're looking to get away. The cabin was lovely. The location felt extremely private, and it was surrounded by all the major parks. We will definitely be back again!

Fantastic campsite. Great little view towards the Allegheny Front. Road is ok with 2WD though I think it would be more difficult/risky after heavy rainfall. Lower than normal clearance on a vehicle would also be problematic. Highly recommend this beautiful spot!

Wonderful for stargazing!

Really enjoyed our time at the campsite! Had a great lookout vista to stargaze and it was incredibly peaceful. Will be back again! Definitely requires a 4WD vehicle (we had a Jeep Wrangler) to get to the site, which was clearly explained in the information as well as having the host reach out to confirm with us. Host was very diligent about providing information and checking in.

This was a spontaneous trip for me over a long weekend, went to explore the Dolly Sods wilderness area. Dolly Sods has one public campground but doesn't take reservations, sites are close together and usually full this time of year. This Hipcamp site is about 20-30 mins to some of the most popular areas of Dolly Sods. I wanted something different from the typical campgrounds and opted for off the grid. Found availability at this Hipcamp site and it met my needs for sure. Pansy and her husband met me at the gate. I followed them in their car to the camp site. It's a dirt road and I can see why others commented about the need for AWD. Unless it's wet and muddy, you should be fine. The camp site has a fire ring and privacy tent with toilet setup (cleaned for each new guest). I opted to setup camp just down the hill about 20 yards which provided more level real estate for my larger tent. Also brought my Solo stove with a new cast iron grill top that I wanted to try out. Made some tasty fajitas on it. Removed the grill top and threw on more firewood for a nice fire under tons of stars. I didn't see or hear a single soul at this site with a great view of wilderness. Pansy was very responsive during the booking process. Upon arrival to the site, enjoyed the conversations with Pansy and her husband. Great hosts, very nice property.

We had a great time staying at Pansy's cabin! It is located on a perfect spot to enjoy the sunset and see the stars. 10/10 location and I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone.

Rocky hollow was amazing!!! the camp site had great views, was very secluded, and pansy was a fabulous host- incredibly communicative, and very hospitable. We would love to come back! The road up to this particular campsite was definitely rough- I drive an AWD Subaru Impreza hatchback and we made it no issue, but I don’t know if anything less than that would make it all the way up to campsite 1.

Pansy’s land is beautiful and peaceful! Very private with a few other sites on the property. All sites are very well spaced apart and you never hear or see anyone! Pansy emphasizes the rugged terrain to get up the mountain - so read and believe it! We had a 4WD truck and didn’t have a problem! Very worth it!

The place was so secluded and lovely. I had a very relaxing time here while hiking around the Dolly Sods and Chimney Top. It is a great location and is so close to so many of the natural wonders of that area. I will say a few things in addition just so people are aware. The lane is no joke! A car will not make it and an suv will need to go super slow. I was in a truck and it was still an adventure. They have 2 free roaming horses who are magical and lovely. The white one let me pet her and I watched the sun set and the stars come out with them on Friday evening. They love the meadow there on this hill. There will be poop, obviously. I didn't realize but horses will stay up all night grazing and chewing and I didn't sleep more then 2 and a half hours because for the rest of the very early morning they were so loud I could not fall back asleep even with earplugs and headphones with music. I am a light sleeper. The next night they were somewhere else, so I don't know how frequent or rare that experience was. But something to be aware of. Pansy and her husband were super nice and I felt very safe there the whole time as a solo camper. I feel lucky to have found this spot.

Wow. When I say this spot was beautiful I’m not lying!! The owners were absolutely amazing and so welcoming. It is about a 4-5 minute trek up a steep mountain so I wouldn’t recommend a sedan unless you’re feeling risky… Also, I’m not sure if it applies to everyone but be prepared to not have service at the site and about 10-15 minutes around it. I’d recommend planning before hand and knowing the directions of places. Overall, I’d 10000% recommend this area to anyone, they even have a few other sites around as well as a cabin. All sites are extremely secluded. We are for sure coming back!!

This campsite was absolutely lovely! My friends and I genuinely enjoyed our time here. The view was great to have and we felt super secluded. The only things we could hear from our campsite was wildlife, and the cows in the morning from the farms below. The connivence of this site to the Dolly Sods was perfect. We managed to take my 2WD vehicle up the path to get there (the trail was dry). As long as your vehicle isn't extremely low, and you have experience on trails, I think it would work. Thank you Pansy for having campsites on your land, you did a great job with placement and continuously great job with maintenance.

Loved this site! Tall trees surround the campsite on one side and a lovely distant view of the mountains on the other. The road up is no joke. We did fine when in 2wd in our SUVs but had it been wet, 4wd would be necessary. It was quiet and perfect.

Clean, well-appointed off grid cabin that was awesome for our family of four. We enjoyed our time at the cabin and exploring the property. The kids loved their space in the loft and we enjoyed the warmth of the woodstove while taking in the views from nearly every window. We are already thinking of when we can return... and hopefully see some snow.

This is truly an off-grid cabin. Pansy is a great host - no cell service for several miles around the cabin. Minimum AWD with good clearance required to access the property- 8/10 of a mile from the road. The beds, sofa and recliner were all very comfortable. We had a fire going in the wood burning stove all weekend, 20 degrees over night, and we were toasty. Hiked the property and drove down and hiked Seneca Rocks.

Such a beautiful cabin and land. Pansy and Ronnie are wonderful hosts. They had everything we might need. Lots to do in the area, but just enjoying their cabin and land would be enough. Definitely want to go back.

Myself and two of my friends went to Pansy’s cabin to take a short vacation. The road to get up to the cabin was somewhat difficult to get through, but nothing my 2016 Honda civic could not handle. The outdoor campfire area was well kept and stocked fully with wood. Inside the cabin was a cozy atmosphere with a small, but certainly adequate, kitchen. My friends and I enjoyed our first night cooking steaks using the campfire grill top. If I ever return to the area, I would definitely come back here again. Thank you Pansy!

Great experience camping at the site with the view. Pansy met us at the gate and guided us back to the site. Would strongly recommend all-wheel/4-wheel drive both for traction and to keep the road from getting torn up. She made sure we had dry firewood.

We went camping for WV days. We had originally booked a different campsite at another campground. After showing up we found ourselves right on top of other campers. That first night I found this campsite on Hipcamp. I made a reservation at around 10pm and was surprised that I got a response right away. They took our last minute reservation and let us show up early. They had even come out early the next morning to make sure everything was mowed off and had set up an outdoor toilet for us. If you are looking to be out on your own with no one else within sight or earshot, this place is for you. The hosts were amazing and we ended up staying an extra day. There were lots of hiking trails, we were close to Seneca rocks and dolly sods and we didn’t have to feel cramped by people being right on top of us. We will definitely be going back.

The view from the top of the hill is beautiful. A quick trip into Dolly Sods. I would definitely recommend a car with higher clearance and preferably AWD.
