Convenient Camping and Adventuring: Our campground lays within seconds to an entrance into the New River Gorge National Park! From our Bike Farm, you can easily access the park’s best mountain biking, hiking trails and climbing routes. Explore the Arrowhead stacked-loop trail system and the Long Point Trail right from your campsite, or take a short drive to Cunard’s public put-in and take-out for boating adventures. Nearby, you’ll also find Kaymoor Top, a premier rock climbing destination and an unforgettable hike through the remains of coal history and an option to descend 821 stairs. Gatewood to Fayetteville: Fayetteville, a vibrant town teeming with culture and charm, is just minutes away. Alternatively, hike in to town via the scenic Timber Ridge Trail that crosses Wolf Creek. We had an awesome stay at Arrowhead! The place has a great vibe—cool, comfortable, and welcoming. The host was super friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The location is perfect for nature lovers, with tons of amazing hikes nearby. And when you’re ready to explore town, Fayetteville is just a short drive away—it’s a charming little spot full of great shops, bars, and coffee shops. Highly recommend Arrowhead—we’ll definitely be back!

I was fortunate to be able to secure a short notice overnight site at this campground for a Saturday. I appreciated that the host responded timely to confirm my requested stay and check in was quick and easy. It’s a great location for visiting New River Gorge NP and Preserve and bicycling enthusiasts, as well as those like me that seek hiking trails accessible from a campground, and is dog friendly. As advertised, it is for smaller RVs/trailers, plus tent camping; site 1 snugly accommodated my 27’ Class C RV.

We journied to Fayetteville to get out of the Rain from the south, Brevard and fell in love with the area and the Bike Farm! The owners made us feel right at home and the pump track and facilities were perfect for our family traveling with a toddler and trading off to ride bikes! We will visit again:)
