Lil Buddha was a gem within a gem! A trailer that’s all you need for coziness, a bed and shelf, on land graced by mt Blanca and all the touches those working the land have added. Such wholesome ways to breathe in the forest there, especially walking outside in middle of the night to stargaze and see all the dancing solar lights on the ground.. illuminating the wild irises and flora.

It was a very nice stay, waking up to a beautiful view was amazing! We had a nice time setting up camp that night. My dog enjoyed walking around the area.

Stayed last weekend here, but I left a day early. First, it's a beautiful spot. The mountains are amazing and rhe night sky was awesome.
However, it was not the peaceful camping spot I hoped for. The main house blasted extremely loud music most of my stay. The first night it played until 11:30 at night and the second night until after 10pm.
Also, when I arrived, someone else was in my reserved spot. She was told by the host that she could camp anywhere. While I waited for her to move, someone walked over from.the main house and told me that I couldn't park where my vehicle was. I tried to explain that I was waiting for the other person to move her stuff. I have no clue if that was the host as they didn't even say hello or introduce themselves.
Also, the bathroom door does not close. I had to use a bungee cord and figure something out to have any privacy. There was no toilet paper either. Thank goodness I brought my own.
The first night, the water tank wasn't working or was empty. I was happy to have brought a few gallons in my vehicle.
I have camped in many places and have never felt so uncomfortable as I did here. And unfortunately, it caused me to cut my trip short, which I've never done before.

The site itself was pretty, campsites were very close together and there was a lot of confusion on where people were supposed to go. It seems many campsites may have been double booked. The view is incredible and the property is very unique. Owners are friendly. Bathrooms not great. Cool place to camp for a night.

Stunning campsite! The hosts were so nice and let us move to a different spot so we could have a better view of the mountains. Definitely recommend this spot!

We loved the feeling and energy of the land & camp area. The shared kitchen, library, and Trading Post are so unique. Beautiful nooks for defying space and time. Jodi was very welcoming. Amazing night skies.

This campsite is absolutely stunning. I took one of the most beautiful drives through Colorado and absolutely loved being among the mountains. Jodi was very kind and welcoming, I felt very safe and loved her energy. Curry the kitty was very friendly also and would visit occasionally during the night! There is an outhouse and an outdoor kitchen where tea is offered, I highly reccomend getting some it was very good. I am definitely coming back some day!

I really enjoyed my time at Dreamweaver Sanctuary in the Juniper Shade site. The space is exactly as described. I loved the little touches throughout the site and loved waking up to hot tea waiting for me in the tea house. The thing I enjoyed the most were the hosts. Such kind and amazing people. I felt like a part of their resident group and not like a guest. I have lived most my life in the city so it was mind blowing to experience the night sky with no light pollution impacting it. A must see! I camped longer than most people do (7 days) as I like to post in one central location and explore as much as I can within a 1-3 hour drive. I was able to work during the day and explore in the afternoons and weekends. I also just hung out at the campsite for part of my stay. Those days were peaceful minus the occasional kids running around or dogs coming about. But I enjoyed all that too. It's what made me feel like a resident and not a guest. I would highly recommend this place, keeping in mind it's location and amenities. If the mountain calls me there again, I'd happily and eagerly stay at Dreamweaver Sanctuary. I will carry them all with me as I continue my travels.

I loved the tent camping at Wapi and Jeka's camp. The amenities were nice and really helpful. Wapi and Jeka were both very nice and their kids were great playmates to my daughter. The dogs were a little much and were trying to steal my daughter and I's food but they were nice and wanted lots of love. Would camp here again.

What a scam. I was the only camper there. Out in the middle of no where. They had a couple tents set up and a few
broken down campers there. All for show. The place is terrible. They lied to me. Told me they owned the place. Next day told me they had a landlord. No shower. Port O Potty for a toilet. A hour hour at least to go to the store. And the bugs ! They swarm as soon as you get there. Stay away ! Go elsewhere. Be warned

The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating! Beautiful location that is easy to get to (non 4WD). Broke my tent mid setting it up and the host without being asked started helping me which was greatly appreciated. Everything you could want and more!

Dreamweaver's Sanctuary tent sites were nicely laid out with beautiful views of the mountains, location is great! The hosts were fantastic! Their dog's were friendly! The smoothies were fantastic! The toilet is a porta-potty acting as a pit toilet, it's not a true compost toilet, but serves the purpose. Many Mosquitoes; bring bug spray. No picnic table, bring a table (this was mentioned in the posting). There is a general kitchen we did not use but was nicely equipped with BBQ and dishware for our use. Did not use shower either but was there for our use. We will definitely go to Dreamweaver's Sanctuary again!!

What a junk pile. There was one half way decent site for us to pull into. Never saw any people but there were several dogs that came and jumped at us. If we hadn’t prepaid we wouldn’t have given it a second look. Positive reviews are most likely written by the owners…who never showed. HipCamp should delete this site from their program and be ashamed that it’s there;

Great camp site. Plenty of amenities provided, amazing views, and host is very communicative. Unfortunately it was severely thunderstorming when I arrived, so I did not get to set up camp without tent getting soaked. However, I know I would have had an amazing stay.

Such a wonderful campsite! It had everything we needed and more. The kitchen, meditation tent and bathrooms were perfect. The campground is perfectly located to access all that the San Luis Valley has to offer. The Juniper Shade site kept the sun off our tent in the hot mornings. Would love to return.

Friendly people, and we liked the concept they have going. The water for showers in the morning was great! We pulled in after dark and found our site but we're unclear which sheds and old buildings where which. The one outhouse was overflowing. Some areas of camp a little more run down than we anticipated with more refuse/debris from various historical projects. I'd go back if I was in the area but I'd just temper my expectations.

I had a wonderful time at this campground. The views were beautiful, especially at sunset, the amenities were all accessible and clean and while the property felt very lived on, I loved my time alone. My only critique would be that, while I love dogs, there were a few roaming the property at all hours with no indication of ownership. One marked (peed) in several corners of my campsite including next to my tent. They will run up on the tent at night as well and while I appreciate their presence on the property for safety and sweet faces, not being introduced to them made it difficult for me and my older dog. Just something to be aware of when staying at this location. I believe I would stay again if visiting this area. So close to the Great Sand Dunes! You can see the mountain they’re sitting under from camp!

There was no compost toilet or solar shower as stated. There were 4 dogs that ran the property and it was hard to tell which ones were friendly. Also, not the owners fault but we woke up to swarms of mosquitoes that covered our legs while we were packing up.

The site was not cleaned, was not anything special like most hip camp sites provide. No internet at all, to contact owner. Not worth the money at all. The toilet location was not accurate in the description. We left and did not stay.
