Excellent little camp spot! Great location, great upkeep, friendly staff. With other campers, felt like a little community. Each spot was spacious so still felt private enough.
Really close to the border of Utah and Arizona so you’re far enough away from Kanab to feel more remote but close enough if you want to go out to eat or do laundry in town. The campsite is plenty big with a picnic table and shade structure as well as a light for the evening. There are two restrooms and a shower with warm water, as well as a shared community area with fire pit and chairs and so on. Overall I thought it was great for the price especially considering the bathroom and shower. The road could use a little work but it’s manageable on any car. The only thing that I hope improves is that I was super confused what site to go to and the other campers told me just use any empty one. That’s ok but I wasn’t sure which were power and which were power and water and I wanted to be honest and take the one I paid for. Next time I am attending an event in Kanab I will definitely try to stay here again! Thank you!
This site was very easily accessible with very nice, clean, and modern amenities! Vicky was very welcoming and checked on us when we arrived and in the morning. Not too far outside of town and was a very quiet and peaceful night for us.
The space is conveniently located close to the Zion National Park entrance which was nice after a long day of driving. It is right off a busy road so it was hard for us to sleep very well in a tent with all the loud trucks driving by. Food, gas and and other essentials are close by so if you need anything, you have lots of options within a few minutes. It was nice to have a shower available. Wish there were fire rings at each site.
The best campsite ever!! SimpleLife campsite was the cutest, simplest campground ever! It has electrical hookups, clean bathrooms, beautiful views, great location (close to main road), and convenient. Host was very friendly and I really can’t complain about anything. I guess if being near a main road bothers you, be aware that you can hear cars driving by. Besides that, it’s the perfect spot!!
Very quiet and comfortable, felt safe. We had a tent, and this may be due to lack of knowledge on my part but ground is rocky. We spent a bit of time clearing a small area of rocks for our tent and pads. Make sure you have something to secure tent because tent stakes won't work. Bathroom had shower, sink and toilet but had not been tended to in quite awhile so was not as comfortable and clean as we were hoping but definitely refreshing. Super easy access to a nice laundromat just down the road in Fredonia. Small, basics only, gas station/party store too. But Kanab isn't far either in the other direction.
We booked here but just took shower and left. Did not feel safe to camp there. This place looked very sketchy and not meant for families is our opinion. The bathrooms are not clean or tiled. The bath towels were very dirty. This place does not have any shade and was in the middle of nowhere. It has one shower and 2 toilets for the whole entire campground. Literally a no no for us.
I had an issue with a flat tire, the text I got from the booking said to go to the website and call and text them directly. I texted and called to let them know that I'd be late but never heard anything back (left a message when I called). When I got the news that no one could fix the flat that day, I called and texted yet again with no response (I left another message).
I can't recommend this camp site as there has been no communication from the owner even when one tries multiple avenues to contact them.
Great site! We stayed at one of the dispersed camping sites and it was a good size and had a solar shade! Close to highway but far enough back it wasn't a bother.
Amazing views to wake up to!!
Bathrooms were clean and nice!
Garrison was a very friendly host and his property is beautiful. The shower was a nice touch as well. The views were awesome and it felt very private. I would come back again easily!
It was fine for a night, but the tent campsites were pretty bare. No coverage or fire pit. Other campsites were very close by. The lot was right by the highway so it was noisy at night. The showers were convenient.
Bathroom was very nasty when we arrived.
The bathroom without a shower has a leak with water running on the floor. Note on the wall says turn it off when you leave. Do what?
The bucket under the leaking sink was also over following.
Towels and floor covering did not get clean daily.
Camp host had three large flags 3 x 6 blowing in the wind that will keep you up all night.
Weeds have not been taken care of in a long while.
Other folks live here full time and do not care.
Great view. Very quiet. Fellow campers are also very respectful. Very clean. Our tent blew down and broke so be careful of winds. Camp host is very helpful with extra camping equipment. In the middle of three national parks. Zion, Grand Canyon, and Bryce, all being about an hour away.
The bathrooms were out of toilet paper or paper towel, or both. Waste baskets were over flowing, too. Both toilet seats needed cleaning. One bathroom only had scalding hot water. The other had a sign requiring you to first turn the water on at the line because the pipes froze (not sure when that was). Site is right by the highway and noisy. The picnic benches are good and it's nice to have the little fly for shade. We were tent camping and the ground was so hard we could barely hammer stakes in.
Garrison was so sweet and made a point to introduce himself to everyone staying the night. The bathroom was well maintained and the shower had a wonderful, hot water pressure. I truly recommend this place.
If it was newly established it could be a good place for one night. Everything you need is there including Wifi. It is beside a loud road so I would not recommend it for longer than one night. Sadly, this place is not well maintained (grass is high, showers and toilets could be cleaner). Haven‘t seen the host at all.
Great quiet place. Showers available and toilets. The host was great very helpful and kind. I do wish they assigned actual spots numbered. We returned around 8pm on our second night booked. I had paid for an electric spot and when I got back on the second night cars with tents were in all electric spots that would be my only recommendation for improvement. Other than that I’d definitely camp here again. Location was great and quiet.
