Enjoy the Junipers & see the stars fall over the Cedars! At 6000ft elevation the air is much cleaner and the weather is much cooler, especially in the summer time! We have plenty of space. A well house to fill up your water. There are also outdoor bathrooms, no shower yet, but working on that! We're just a short seven minute drive to the dump station at a local gas station down the road on the Deuce of Clubs and Penrod. We are 14 minutes from a large hospital, 10 minutes from major grocery stores, shopping and restaurants, and many other fun activities. Our location is in a perfect spot to enjoy the blue sky and great weather. Sunrise Ski area is a quick drive too! Pinetop Lakeside are within 10 minutes, Taylor and Snowflake are within 15 to 25 minutes. We hope you visit and continue to keep our environment clean and a chill spot to visit. We are home to a family-friendly honky-tonk, and microbrewery, now open Wed-Sat 2pm-8pm. Please check our Instagram or Facebookd @the4sbarn and @greatskycampranch_showlowaz for updates. Seasonal business may change our days/hours of operation. Cheers! We also offer a few extras at check-out... 4S free range / nest run eggs, bags of Ice, and firewood. Start your trip off right with a bundle of our premium firewood. Mostly juniper, nicely dried and bagged. Just remind us at check-in with your receipt. This is not the cheap wood they sell at the gas station. Please always check for our fire bans that are regulated by the county and state. Always have a bucket of water next to your campfire and make sure it's completely out before you leave it. Please do not bring outside firewood. Please do not take the firewood on our property. We had a lovely stay at Big sky Ranch. We had no idea there was also a brewery and live music on site. We were there on a Sunday so it was closed but what a great addition. The staff was nice and directed us to pick any site we wanted. As we were dry camping we found a great shady spot. It was quite, only one other couple camping at the other end. There was some slight noise from neighboring dogs, but it didn't bother us at all. The resident Rooster made sure we woke up early to get ready for the Petrified Forest. The cow was a doll and Goats hilarious. We will definitely make plans to come back and stay with friends when the brewery and music are happening. I guess there are food trucks too. What a little Gem!!

Assumed based on map that the dry camping zone was a bit bigger/ more secluded but was the site beside the cow pen under the trees, with no specific “site”. The area was clean and the brewery was amazing which was the reason I booked it in the first place. Could reach the wifi at my spot, the bathroom was close and clean. Overall for a quick night stay it worked.

Mike does a fantastic job of giving very detailed directions for an ambiguous situation. Sites are not very well delineated and can cause confusion when other campers are walking through your site looking for theirs. During the week, it was quiet and peaceful. When the taproom was open it slightly less quiet but not bothersome. We will definitely return if we pass this way again.

Such an easy get away. We stayed for one night and it was so peaceful and the animals were so cute. Loved that they had live music. I will say there were a TON of prickers on the ground so just be careful when you go. We definitely would love to come again

Amazing hosts accommodated us last minute and allowed us to check in early on Easter which was much appreciated! Adorable, quiet property with the cutest touches along with goats, chickens and a cow. We loved the farm sounds. We will be back to check out their onsite brewing company in the near future. Thank you!

We stopped on our way from Colorado down to Tucson and it was perfect for what we needed. Firewood, fire pit and stellar star gazing. Maizy the cow is an absolute sweetheart and the goats & chickens were fun to say good morning to.

Lovely spot among the bushy pines. Nice little firepit for sitting around and gazing at stars. Dogs appreciated the little astroturf area. The bathrooms were very clean and toasty inside. Said hello to the farm animals in the morning. Would love to be here when the BARn is open next time. Cute place!

The host was great with communication! We got in way later than expected but the host was gracious even as we ran into a couple issues late at night. He provided multiple ways to contact him and accommodated every need. It was quiet and just the place we needed to rest on a long road trip. Because we got in late we weren't able to enjoy the taproom but we definitely plan on staying here again to take advantage of that in the future. The directions for arrival were spot on. Thank you!

This is a cool spot as is and I think will be even better when they finish all their planned developments. We were the only ones out there (aside from the animals) and we were able to take our pick of the sites. It was pretty windy and that seemed to be the norm for the area. Toilets were clean and they had heaters in them which was nice for the cold fall weather. Overall a safe spot to camp. We didn’t hear any dogs mentioned in the post and even the rooster was nice enough to sleep in.

During the day, we loved exploring the property and hanging out with the goats, chickens, and Macy the cow. The farmhand let us help feed the animals. We were in Site #3 and right behind the bar. The music was loud at night but was done by 9 pm and not a problem for us. Everything worked as expected and we extended our stay a couple days.

We came late in the season so we were the only RV there. Everything was so clean and very quiet. I loved the animals close by an added plus. Wish the little brewery was open still but totally understandable because we were the only ones there 🤣 Thank you Mike for letting us stay. We will stay again!

I would highly recommend this campground. The owner was very kind and accommodating. We pulled in late at night and had no trouble finding a spot. It was quiet and even had flush toilets that were heated! I enjoyed the bonus of the farm animals!

I will say I mainly booked this place because my family is first time campers and I wanted to ease them into it with a bathroom, thought the farm animals would be good, and I love a good brewery. On those 3 things it delivered. I think a little bit more work needs to be done on the camping portion as it wasn’t very clear where we were supposed to go and the overworked bar tender was busy with a packed brewery. From the part of the property I saw I don’t think it’s big enough the have “dispersed” camping. I think some more work needs to be put into some campsites even if it’s some gravel parking pads and fire rings, otherwise it turned into a dusty mess, with sharp bushes everywhere. Host was very responsive through the app and I took some beer home.

My little boys loved that there were farm animals on the property! The sites were very neat and the grounds were quite. There were no bright lights that I had to try to keep out to sleep, but there was enough light at night to feel safe getting to and from the bathrooms. I am not sure if fire rings were available, but having a ring and a picnic table at each site would be a great addition. We would have loved to be there when the Drafthouse was open or for karaoke!

Nice quite place and close to Show Low for shopping and the petrified forest is about 30 miles to the north for some good hiking!!

RV sites 1 and 2 are next to each other and next to the road so there is occasional road noise. The roosters also are early risers. The site did not have a fire pit. No good area to go for a walk.

Overall, clean and friendly place to stay. Noise was a bit more than expected from the traffic all night, to the rambunctious rooster that began our day at 330am. Maybe just not best for tent camping, but loved everything else!

This was a very nice site! And the host was very accommodating, I had to have my car fixed and he said I could do a late checkout which was awesome! It's quiet and close to the other parks to go hiking and do the other activities I recommend it!
