Coolest Hipcamp of our cross country trip for sure. The host put a lot of care into making it comfortable and interesting. Was perfect for our transit from Grand Canyon to Zion.
The host Russell went out of his way for us, even took time to mail us a hat we accidentally left behind. Great guy!

Russell is gypsy king! The home is perfectly designed and so thoughtful. The bath is cozy and sweet and a sunset soak only adds to the magic of the property. Amazing stay, beautiful location, great host. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Very unique place to stay at! Definitely recommend staying here. Gypsy’s Cottage has everything you need, hot showers, plenty of cooking options, WiFi, amazing views and it’s a great location for trips to all the canyons around you!

Such a cute cottage! Was very clean, bed was very comfy. Has a bathroom with toilet and shower inside (shower got very hot), as well as an outdoor bathtub. Easy to find with directions provided. Would absolutely stay again!

Fantastic fantastic unique spot. The amenities were incredible. Everything was so effortlessly put together perfectly. Outdoor shower was awesome! Fully stocked with so many cool ways to cook meals. Can’t say enough. Close enough to town to grab groceries or food/drink. WiFi … gorgeous views. Need I say more?

What a find! Beautiful setting, fun things to explore around the property and surrounding area. Russell was a wonderful host and my grandspn and I would return in a heartbeat. Great location for sand dines, Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon North Rim. Great water pressure and temp, firepit, inside 2 burners, sink, fancy convection oven, fridge. Comfy beds, heat, AC. Fantastic views. Fenced yard and dog door!

Overall we had a great stay. The house itself was clean, comfortable, super cute and had everything we needed! Unfortunately it was a bit closer to neighbors than we expected vs a more private ranch feel.

You'll find yourself conflicted on whether to go and do all the things you planned to do or just hang on the property. You couldn't find a better launching/chill pad. The Gypsy Cottage was super cozy and had everything one could need. You can feel all the love Russel put into the cottage <3 10 out of 10. We hope to have the opportunity to return one day.

Amazing cabin! Pictures don't do it justice! Clean, cozy, well insulated, set up with all you need for cooking, inside bathroom with shower, and outside shower and bath. Hot water held up well for 5 adults. Bee's market nearby has everything you need for groceries. Had 4 large dogs with us and the property was fenced in very well. There is a dog door that fit our 110 lb. dog, that can be locked tightly if necessary. Property is well maintained, gravel, rock and cement patios. Like most of Arizona, there are some goat head burrs so bring tweezers for dogs feet. Russ checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. I prefer this over a 5 star hotel any day!

Russ is offering a great little gem. Really loved the stay at his place. Place feels unique and cozy and Russ is a great host - easy to communicate, perfect directions, all the things you need for cooking etc is there. Highly recommended.

Loved the cozy stay in Gypsy Cottage! The small cottage was a work of art with details everywhere. Was able to cook dinner and enjoy the campfire!

This is the most remarkable property. It’s a hidden gem you get so much for staying there. The cabin itself is actually like a work of art. Care has been put into every detail. Everything you need is there and the owner is very reachable if you need anything and will respond quickly it’s close to many things but it’s far enough a way to give you peace and solace. I’d like to stay there every chance I can.

This was one of the most remarkable places I think I’ve ever stayed. It’s rural and in a different location, but it’s close to a lot of good mountain biking and hiking. It’s remarkable because it’s functional but reminds me of a piece of art and craftsmanship. Every carefully placed detail is intentional. It seems as if this is definitely a labor of love. Aside from the aesthetic quality it was very clean and well stocked. Russell was immediately available for any problems and a very good communicator. I plan to stay here again soon and many times after that.

Gypsy’s Cottage
The cabin was comfortably and cozy, and the beds upstairs were quite toasty with the wood stove (there’s also a mini split for heat/cooling). The water heater was having some issues that didn’t impact us and were well communicated. Would definitely stay there again!
The stars were very pretty and neighbors were far enough away and quiet enough to not distract.

We absolutely loved our stay at Gypsy Cottage! The setting is peaceful and incredibly beautiful, with stunning mesa views. The beds were very comfortable, and the thoughtful touches throughout made the cottage feel like home. It was the perfect base for exploring Zion, Bryce Canyon, Gooseberry Mesa, and other nearby attractions. We truly appreciated our time here and would love to come back again. Thank you, Russell, for curating such a cozy and laid-back space. We loved it!!

Had a great time! Super cute and relaxing, as expected from the listing. Russell was easy to contact with the couple questions I had. The only upset was we were really looking forward to taking a bath outside but the water couldn’t get hot enough in the cold weather, something to consider if you’re staying in cold weather. It was about 50 degrees when we went. Plan on staying again some time!

A great spot to catch a break from car camping. Watch the sunset and the moon rise, and enjoy this basic but cozy, comfortable and well equipped cottage. There isan outdoor bath and the firepit , both are perfect for enjoying the evening outside. I loved my stay here.

Loved it here! 10/10 - location, cabin & host.
Location - I used this as a base to go down to the Grand Canyon north rim, the Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Zion, explore St. George & Hurricane and Russel is a great tour guide! He took me around the area to see petroglyphs, dinosaur tracks, wind caves, vistas and so many cave paintings! I would never have found this stuff on my own (and neither do other tourists bc we didn’t see any!)
Cabin - So comfortable and cozy! Hot shower, comfortable bed, kitchen with everything you need, fire pit, wood even friendly dogs and cats to that might visit you! As others have mentioned, no cell service but great wifi, there is also a nice laundry and big grocery store in town about 10 mins away.
Host - Not only is Russel is a great tour guide, he also seems like genuinely good guy who wants his guests to be happy and enjoy his place, and the area, as much as he does.
I’ll be back!

One of my favorite cabins/places I’ve stayed! Communication was great and what is provided/not was really clear (ex cooking supplies, oil, salt/pepper, shampoo, sandwich bags - all of which was really appreciated). Was easy to get to, close by to a grocery store, and was only about an hour to Zion. Space was beautiful, clean and cozy! Only thing that surprised us that has to do with our own preparation not the cabins was that Arizona doesn’t do daylight savings I don’t think so Utah is an hour ahead - ended up leaving around 7 am to get to Zion around 9 am - still worked out perfectly and will definitely stay here again !
