Welbury Glamping Pod

Located on the end plot, The Welbury sports amazing views along with privacy and the Luxury of a private hot tub on the patio. Sharing it’s name with the local village of Welbury, located just past Appleton Wiske, Welbury is home of the cosy Duke of Wellington pub, another fine example of a warm, welcoming Yorkshire pub as well as the St. Leonards Church. With some great footpaths and with incredible views, Welbury is a great place to take in the area. Each pod is well equipped and very much self-contained. Upon approach to the pod from your private footpath from the car park, you are greeted by your patio (and in the case of The Appleton, The Rounton and The Welbury, your private Hot Tub for two). Your patio is equipped with a table and two outdoor chairs with extremely comfortable cushions to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. A highly recommended addition to this is the option to hire a firepit and even purchase some large marshmallows with toasting fork to enhance your evening as sit and unwind, surrounded by nature. When entering the pod you are greeted by your lounge/dining room, from here you sit and lounge in front of the TV, sit at the dining table and read through your welcome pack or simply gaze at the amazing views as you decompress and begin your break. Past the lounge/diner you have your fully equipped kitchenette (Pod Inventory), including everything you could need to be fully self-catered down to the complimentary condiments. Directly opposite the kitchenette is a well-proportioned double bed, located in a cosy, enclosed area of the Pod for a peaceful night’s sleep. At the very rear of the pod is your bathroom, including a sink, toilet and shower, the bathroom is an ideal size for the pod. Complimentary Shampoo, Conditioner and Body wash is provided, free of disposal packaging from our friends at Fill Guisborough. A sky light window, bathroom window and large front door can be opened in the warm summers days to allow the fresh country air to flood the pod or in the winter underfloor heating keeps your feet toasty warm and the pod cosy.

Appleton Glamping Pod

The Appleton pod is situated on a corner plot and is the only luxury dog friendly pod. It has plenty of outdoor space for your fury friend to exercise in the secure dog area right next to the pod. Appleton is equipped with a private, electric hot tub and looks out onto the Cleveland hills. Each pod is equipped with a kitchenette, including everything you need to be fully self-catered down to the complimentary condiments. Directly opposite the kitchenette is a well-proportioned double bed, located in a cosy, enclosed area of the pod for a peaceful nights sleep. At the rear of the pod is your bathroom, including a sink, toilet and shower. The bathroom is an ideal size for the pod. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash is provided, free of disposable packaging from our friends at Fill Guisbrough. The pod also contains a comfy sofa, Freeview TV, WiFi, a table and chairs and outdoor furniture to enjoy the view.

Hornby Pod

The Hornby pod shares its name with the local village of Hornby, located between Great Smeaton and Appleton Wiske and is our pod which is available for 1 night stays, When entering the pod you are greeted by your lounge/dining room, from here you sit and lounge in front of the TV, sit at the dining table and read through you welcome pack or simply gaze at the amazing views. Past the lounge area you have your fully equipped kitchenette, including everything you need to be fully self-catered down to the complimentary condiments. Directly opposite the kitchenette is a well proportioned double bed , located in a cosy enclosed area of the pod for a dreamy nights sleep. At the rear of the pod is your bathroom. Including sink, toilet and shower. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash is provided, free of disposable packing from Sarah at Fill Guisborough. The large front door can be opened for access to the patio area which is equipped with a table and two chairs to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. A highly recommended addition to this is the option to hire a firepit and even purchase some marshmallows and toasting forks to enhance your evening as you sit and unwind, surrounded by nature. Our Hornby pod is our pod without a hot tub.

Rounton Glamping Pod

Cosied in between The Hornby and The Welbury, The Rounton shares the amazing views and tranquillity of the retreat along with the added luxury of your own private hot tub on your patio area. Sharing it’s name with the Rountons, both East and West Rounton are found East of the retreat, turning left just as you get into Appleton Wiske. Each pod is well equipped and very much self-contained. Glamping pod with hot tub

We loved our stay at Roseacre retreat. The hosts were lovely and very helpful with information on how to get there, they offer support with anything you need. It was very clean and everything needed was provided. The views from the pod were beautiful I would definitely recommend and stay again in the future.
