My son and 1 had a great 3 nights stayed at Big Valley Campsite.
Guinea pig cuddling and sheep feeding was a great plus for my 7 year old son.
Family toilet facilities were clean and definitely very helpful.

First time booking a campsite on HipCamp and we choose Big Valley Campsite. Wasn’t too sure what to expect but we’re very happy with our decision.
My good friend, our husbands and I catch up a few times a year and on this catch up we decided we wanted to explore the Margaret River region. Was an easy drive to caves and MR township from the campsite.
BVC was very accommodating to our request to be placed next to each other.
We’ve raised our own lambs but no longer run sheep at home so we loved the sheep feeding experience, watching the Guinea pigs roam around and making friends with the chickens and roosters that would visit us each morning for breakfast.
Next time we would bring our dog as the campsite is pet friendly and looked to have an amazing dog run.
The showers were clean, as were the toilets. We booked powered sites. We actually didn’t need the power as we have an off grid set up but our friends did need power. That was a big factor in choosing where to book.
The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The property was tidy and well looked after.
Seems most campers were very respectful of the noise curfew, which was refreshing. I have stayed in many caravan parks over the years and by far, this was the quietest during the night.
Memories were made and I’m sure we will be back to make more.

My partner and I spent two nights at Big Valley Campsite and absolutely loved every moment. The peaceful setting amidst rolling hills provided a serene backdrop for our getaway. We particularly enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to interact with the farm animals, which added a special touch to our experience. Being just a short drive from Margaret River's renowned wineries and attractions, it was the perfect base for our adventures. What a wonderful environment to set up camp! We loved the privacy hedges, the well equipped camp kitchens, the tidy shower and toilet blocks, and the friendliness of the staff. Just a huge tick from us!

Loved camping here. Had a lovely welcome and was taken straight down to sheep/emu feeding so the kids didn't miss out. The camp-sites felt spacious, and amenities very clean. We will definitely be back. Thank you 😊

What an awesome campsite! The kids had so much fun and did not want to leave! The facilities were fantastic, and the customer service was even better. Beautiful fresh farm produce available from the office for a perfect bbq and the ability to hire a fire pit was great and saved us having to try pack supplies from home. We will definitely be staying again, thank you Big Valley Campsite!

Thank you Big Valley Campsite for such a fantastic stay! Our kids absolutely loved that they could be interactive with the animals and looked forward to ‘feeding time’ every afternoon. Our site comfortably fit our big rig and your communication was superb. Close to everything but nestled away from the hustle and bustle, pure bliss!

Our stay at big valley was amazing, far exceeded my expectations! From the kindness of Lisa who checked us in to the cleanliness of all the amenities.
We loved that there were so many families and dogs around, it made it an extremely fun stay. We loved that we were able to get up and close with the sheep, emus and Guinea pigs and it was really lovely to see the chickens really living life as free range 😊 10/10 would stay here again!

Excellent location to explore the area.
Good advice recieved on where to visit in the margaret river area.
Campsite is rustic and has a warm welcoming feel about it .
Animal feeding time was loved by the children and by us adults too.
Would highly recommend staying here if you are exploring Margaret river .

As always we loved camping at big valley. Site 40 was good although alot of people drive past quite quickly, might need too add some speed humps and unfortunately you can smell the dump point at times but overall a great place.

We absolutely loved our time at Big Valley. The kids loved the guinea pigs and all the birds. The facilities were spotless and the Saturday night entertainment of live music, food truck and wine was the perfect way to end our stay there. Great proximity to Margaret River and surrounds and the staff were all very friendly. Thanks for having us! Would definitely recommend.

Big Valley Campsite was the perfect getaway for our family! The guinea pig feeding was a much loved activity by the kids and daily sheep and emu feeding was also a hit.
We were lucky enough to have booked when there was entertainment and food trucks on the Saturday night, that created an awesome environment around camp with everyone gathering around to enjoy!

We had the best time, stayed for 2 weeks and it was so central to day trips and when we didnt go out there plenty to do for the kids with playground tree, guinea pigs and sheep feeding daily. Highly recommend.

Wonderful people, friendly greeting and good information and items for sale provided at site office, facilities were clean and all in good working order. Plenty of loo roll … always important!! Sites are a good size and well spaced so you are not on top of your neighbours. Cute animals around the farm and a great location for getting around. Must add for a camping trip around Margaret River and surrounding area.

What a lovely place to spend a few days. We did not have great weather but the view from our annexe (on a very large site) watching the sheep, llamas and visits from so many birds definitely made up for it. The facilities are excellent and always spotlessly clean - highly recommended.

Had a lovely weekend stay at Big Valley Campsite in our caravan. The directions were great and easy to find and the sites we had were large and not too close to other campers. Great hosts and beautifully kept and maintained camp site. Loved the Guinea Pigs and sheep feeding time. For those with pups there’s a great fenced off area for them to have a good free run too.
