Mendocino Grove is a modern camping experience on Northern California’s breathtaking Mendocino Coast. Ranked # 6 on Yelp's Top Places to Camp in the US, Mendocino Grove has something for everyone! With 37 acres to explore, Mendocino Grove has spacious Safari-style Classic and Family tents, fully outfitted with comfortable heated beds, warm-down comforters, wool blankets, crisp cotton linens, lanterns, and more. Each tent is housed on a wooden platform with a redwood deck complete with comfy leather butterfly-chairs & table. All campsites include a picnic table and fire ring with grill, ideal for cooking. Wheelchair accessible tents are also available. In the morning, head over to the Meadow Commons where can enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, cocoa and a breakfast surprise . The Meadow Commons also features fast wi-fi, and a heated porch where you can gather with friends for a good board game. Mendocino Grove shared retro bathhouses offer hot showers both indoor and out, organic bath products, fluffy towels and a dog wash. Yoga is offered daily at 9:30 am and there is a 3/4-mile trail that leads through a forest of bishop pines to an ocean viewing deck. A short walk away, there is kayaks and outrigger-style redwood canoe rentals for paddling on the Big River Estuary, where you might spot harbor seals or otters! Mendocino Grove also offers a bocce ball court, corn hole, games, books, and relaxation hammocks.

64) Classic Tent: Standard Pet Friendly
We had a great time at Mendocino fest. It’s located only a few mins from Mendocino. The tent had lots of amenities and was thought out; they had lanterns, a place to hang up clothes, towels, bedding (including a heated blanket). The bathroom, shower, and common facilities were very nice. They also had a sauna, yoga, and the options for massages, which we didn’t use but appreciated. We also brought our dog and they had a bowl, bedding, a dog park, and water and treats in common areas too. Highly recommend staying here!

Fall Fest 2023 - Group Glamping Tent
Fall Fest at Me do I o Grove was truly dreamy. My family and I had the best time: dancing to the amazing live music, making crafts, playing bocce ball, exploring the grounds…the outdoor shower was a highlight! The food was delicious and the staff were incredibly personable.

Fall Fest 2023 - Pitch-Your-Own-Tent
Mendocino Grove is a very special glamping spot. You just need to check it out. They did a really nice job with the details in how they built everything. We went for Fall Fest where you can see that it’s really a passion project of Theresa and crew- they built a place where they love to spend time. Like, Theresa was personally passing out It’s Its after dinner on Saturday to everyone in the big festival tent. And getting bands like Left Loosie to play such an intimate setting speaks for itself- it’s like the whole festival is friends and family. Also, the “all inclusive festival” is a great idea which I had never seen done before. Nothing brings people together like food! And not having to think about food for a weekend is its own kind of luxury.

This experience is THE ultimate in glamping: a magical setting in the Mendocino forest near the ocean; warm and comfy beds in spacious, solid tents; sleek and clean facilities; a simple breakfast in the morning with coffee; a resident raven begs for food in the common area every morning. It is awesome. Pretty much everything you need to have a good camping experience is provided...just bring warm clothes. You can go to town to eat or BBQ your own stuff. It's all good.

Had trepidation about driving 3.5h from SF and finding we needed to switch accommodations/too noisy on a weekend, but all concerns allayed. Hyper-professional, clean, well thought-out glamping arrangement, even with free coffee and breakfasts. Highly recommend.

What can I say? We never got to attend because my kids ended up sick with RSV and I couldn’t let them camp in the cold rainy weather. Mendocino Grove would not give us any kind of partial credit or refund so there goes $900+ on a weekend we didn’t get to enjoy. I get that they have a strict cancellation policy, but come on. Not even a credit to come back later. We’re not the kind of people that just drop $1k every weekend, this was a special vacation that was ruined by unforeseen circumstances. Can’t say I’ll ever come back.

Fall Fest 2023 - Pitch-Your-Own-Tent
It was raining so I upgraded to a glamping site, and it was totally worth it. The tents were sheik, cozy and clean, and each one I saw had a similar feel with slightly different (minimalist) decor. The grounds are well appointed, easy to navigate and extremely well kept. You feel tucked into the redwoods, yet The walking trail reveals stunning ocean views. The staff are kind and welcoming; and truly understand and embody hospitality. I won’t reveal all of the surprises, because experiencing it for yourself as they unfold is part of the magic. I cannot wait to get back in the spring.

A great time was had by all; the big open tent filled with picnic tables, heaters, food, wine, live music, dancing dogs alongside their dancing owners all made for two fun evenings. And even in the rain, there was much to explore during the day up and down the beautiful Mendocino coast. Treat yourself to a HIPCAMP Adventure.

The experience went above and beyond my expectations. It was my first time “glamping” and will never go camping again:). The food was delicious, the sauna and facilities are beautiful and the hosts are the best. Thank you Jackson! You slay! Oh, and happy to be a witness to the first music fest. Fall Fest 2023 - Pitch-Your-Own-Tent
Mendocino Grove is nothing short of magical. Incredible property, amazing sunset views, hiking trails, access to the river and coast. I attended Fall Fest - SO much fun. I got to make flower crowns, incense (with Fir from the property 💚), macrame, shibori bandanas - AMAZING! Plus, discovered some amazing bands and enjoyed music each night. The other attendees were all wonderful - truly such good vibes. And the food was perfection! I’m so happy I got to attend fall fest, and already looking forward to visiting Mendocino Grive again. The showers were amazing, the heated beds were perfect. You will absolutely love your time here!

I had great time in Mendocino Grove. Food, events and equipment are wonderful. We can just pack same as living in hotels. Although it was raining half day of our stay, it didn’t affect my experience much. I enjoyed a lot.

Glamping Tent Plus
We were there for my husbands birthday and we had a great time! The camp site was really neat and well kept. The bathrooms were clean and they always had beautiful fresh flowers. They had bbq grills and campfire pits easily accessible. Town is super close, nice trails in the area and of course beautiful ocean everywhere! Our host Teresa was so great, really friendly and our 5 year old was so happy that she played with him. On the whole it was a great experience and we can’t wait to come back!

This place is a gem! It’s glamping with ease. The lodging was comfortable, especially with the electric blankets underneath our sheets on those cold nights. The bathrooms and showers were always clean and the grounds were beautifully, functionally designed. Would love to come back. Available from May through October.

Mendocino Grove: wonderful! So easy, so comfortable, and so so peaceful and beautiful...we didn’t want to leave. Stayed two nights with our two kids, aged 5 and 6.5, and we were all impressed with both the common areas and our awesome little “tent cabin,” as the kids called it. Beds were dreamy. Plenty of flat surfaces + wardrobe/garment hanging area + chairs to corral personal belongings to keep a tidy living space. Firepit w. cooking grate plus a nice grill and picnic table for outdoor food prep, check. Stylish little chairs that were easy to move around, check. Lanterns to charge your devices, which we needed. Bocce! A swing to play on! Food lockers! **Wagons** to haul your stuff in (like firewood, luggage from the car, children, hahah). Drinking water refill stations, both cold and hot! Good quality, well-stocked toiletries in the bathhouse—towels were soft and water got HOT—as well as clean, well-stocked communal dishwashing sink. The family tents seemed to be set apart from the 2 person tents area, which was a great call so no couple trying to have a romantic getaway had to wake up to the sound of somebody else’s whiny kids (read: ours) and vice versa. It felt like they really thought of everything to make everybody’s stay comfortable and convenient. Our favorite things were the great little loop hiking trail, easy enough even for young children, and the thoughtful complimentary breakfast in the morning: tea, coffee and cocoa, along with a few flavors of Noosa yogurts and fresh fruit (like delicious in-season apricots, wow!) ... I snuck off with my mat one morning to the yoga deck and had a splendid solo session in the early morning while all the birds chirped around me, which was edenic. The one suggestion to fellow family travelers, besides for definitely bringing cozy layers/a respectable jacket, is to bring a travel nightlight, like little LED string lights or something similar, as the lighting options after dark felt either too dark or too bright for our kids when they were falling asleep. Oh, and perhaps your own reusable mug or thermos for morning coffee, etc. just to be good to the environment like that. :) In all, a fantastic stay; can’t wait to come back again some day!

Great location! Unfortunately, it was not nearly as private as I and my wife expected, but we probably should have expected that. Beautiful campsite, but it was not as much "glamping" as we expected, and most of the campers around us seemed far more prepared. We enjoyed sitting around our fire for one night, but ended up leaving a day early. Overall, I had a good time, but make sure you go in with your eyes open or you might come away disappointed.

Try and research the various campsites ahead of time. Some have views of the ocean and the road and others have a view of the town of Mendocino. Also, the campground provides free coffee, tea and breakfast items in the morning!
